Snowmobile
The many joys of Furano’s winter are not limited to skiing and snowboarding. One of the best ways to experience this natural winter wonderland is by enjoying 360° panoramic views during a hilltop snowmobile ride.
Snow Festival
Traditionally held on the first weekend of February, this event provides the opportunity to sample regional winter delicacies cooked by locals.
Culture Night
On January and February weekends, locals offer a big welcome to international visitors, with cultural presentations including Furano’s unique dances and traditional Japanese musical instruments.

Cities, towns and villages located almost in the center of Hokkaido along the Furano Rail Line are blessed with remarkablyrich tourism resources unlike cities, towns and villages of any other areas. FOCUS FURANO is a portal site for transmitting mainly the tourist information of the Furano Area to overseas in a simple and bite-size format.
